Merchants that outsource their payment processes to payment providers expect easy technical integration to accept payments. It is our job to handle the complexity of accepting payments so your merchants do not have to. Subscriptions or one-off, mobile or web, local or global, all in with one single API, easy to integrate in 10 minutes, that is our goal!
We often hear about complaints in the market of merchants that are not happy about the ease of integration of payment modules into their existing online shop environments. In addition the on-boarding process to accept payments often takes weeks or even months. And you know what, I totally understand them.
From a merchant perspective, payment is just not their core business. Their strength is their product and in the way they sell and market it. As a merchant I expect plug and play operations when outsourcing the payments part to a third party, namely a Payment SERVICE Provider (PSP). The word SERVICE says it all, merchants expect SERVICE when they outsource this vital part of their operations.
At PAY.ONwe always have put our focus on simple merchant integration for all available payment methods. A PSP using our platform PaySourcing offers his merchants the Web Payment Frontend (WPF), an easy to integrate payment page, fully PCI compliant, where all payment methods run inside. Current integration time of the WPF showed an average of 4 to 8 hours including adaptation and testing according to recent surveys. This is simple but it even has to be simpler to get started!
Technology is moving fast and we aim to improve our offerings constantly. Inspired by US providers like Braintree or Recurly, our R&D departments have gone new ways and are setting even new standards. We are currently working on a new payment page integration that will lower the integration time for merchants on average to 10 minutes.
Latest technology standards allow us to set up an API that can be integrated into any existing online shop by cut and paste supporting not only Credit and Debit Cards like VISA, MasterCard, Carte Bleue or Diners Club (including 3dSecure), but also alternative payments including iDeal, Sofortueberweisung and PayPal. It also supports tokenization and recurring payments as well as mobile payments support.
Watch out on our developments, we will be launching the next generation of merchant APIs giving payment service providers relying on PaySourcing a huge competitive advantage in December 2012.
